Non-audio opinions

My unboxing posts are pretty much the only times I’ll ever talk about build quality, accessories and the like. I’m not really the person to ask about these things as I don’t really care about them that much.

Accessories: canvas carrying case, leather pouch, tips.

Cable: standard Plastics One (or similar) cable.

Connection: flush 2-pin.

Build: Fully plastic. No comment.

Fit: Isn’t too shallow a fit, but I can definitely appreciate it if it had a longer nozzle.

Initial impressions

  • Doesn’t seem to be a set change for each switch. The switches work as a combo rather than as their own setting.
  • My personal favourite setting is “020” (only the second setting is activated). Best tonal balance of all the settings IMO.
  • Not particularly technical, but tonality is more-or-less spot on for most settings. Everything sounds correct and as it should be.
  • Pretty good all-rounder all things considered.

Measurements

Due to the vast amount of settings available for the TSMR-3 Pro’s switch functionality, do head over to its dedicated measurements page or the Graph Comparison Tool.

My favourite setting: 020
